This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated region.
• Recognize and comprehend customer requirements, aligning suitable resources and activities for effective execution.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of products and disease states to engage effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Promote the company’s inaugural product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and selected Primary Care Physicians within the assigned area.
• Propel sales performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
• Convey clinically relevant messages, introduce a new treatment alternative, and address customer concerns.
• Enhance understanding of market dynamics and access opportunities within the territory.
• Facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals and office staff to accelerate pull-through.
• Create territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Work alongside peers, marketing, training, sales operations, Regional Sales Managers, and commercial colleagues.
• Drive operational execution and share effective practices.
• Oversee CRM utilization and expense reporting.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of successful medical sales experience (e.g., dental, medical devices, laboratory, diagnostics) or one year in pharmaceutical sales; experience in GI Specialty is preferred.
• Proven and consistent history of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage all available resources (marketing, market access strategies, and technology solutions).
• Solid business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to cultivate professional relationships with office staff and other members of the customer network.
• Proven success in both in-person and virtual engagements.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong technical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Occasional overnight travel within the territory may be necessary.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
• Must adhere to all relevant company and regulatory standards.
