This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Acquire knowledge about Victaulic’s products and the solutions they offer to customers.
• Familiarize yourself with grooved mechanical pipe joining techniques as well as alternative methods like welding and flanging.
• Grasp the nuances of construction cycles alongside major construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Keep an eye on market trends and the activities of competitors.
• Become actively involved in local trade organizations and professional associations.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate a business plan that includes opportunity mapping, sales objectives, product promotion strategies, and sales tactics.
• Oversee all aspects of project pursuit and management, from initial project conception through design, specifications, drawings, bidding, job-site training and support, commissioning, and after-sale follow-up.
• Collect information regarding quotation requisitions, including application, specifications, pricing, and timing needs.
• Direct inside sales, engineering, and support teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Cultivate relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, building owners, and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Victaulic distributors and maintain a well-balanced distribution network.
• Coordinate efforts with Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists.
• Educate clients on Victaulic products and their associated value.
• Perform tool demonstrations and installation training on job sites.
• Present lunch-and-learn sessions for engineers.
• Persuade decision-makers to optimize sales opportunities.
• Attend client dinners, sporting events, and other social gatherings outside of regular business hours as necessary.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior sales experience in value-added products/services, ideally in commercial construction, PVF, or mechanical products.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• Experience in developing and maintaining long-term relationships.
• A competitive spirit, adaptability, and resilience.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while remote.
• A confident demeanor, professional appearance, and a friendly personality when interacting with customers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• Capability to work under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
