This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Acquire knowledge of Victaulic products and their customer solutions.
• Understand grooved mechanical pipe joining techniques as well as competing methods such as welding and flanging.
• Familiarize yourself with construction cycles, including major construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Keep track of market trends and competitor activities.
• Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan that includes opportunity mapping, sales objectives, product promotion strategies, and sales tactics.
• Oversee project pursuit and management from inception through design, specifications, drawings, bidding, job-site training and support, commissioning, and after-sale follow-up.
• Collect application, specification, pricing, and timing data for quotations.
• Lead inside sales, engineering, and support teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Cultivate relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
• Manage relationships with Victaulic distributors and ensure a balanced distribution network.
• Coordinate efforts with Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists.
• Educate customers on product value and application in projects.
• Conduct tool demonstrations and provide installation training on job sites.
• Present lunch-and-learn sessions to engineers.
• Influence decision-makers to maximize sales opportunities.
• Host customers at dinners, sporting events, and other social gatherings, including evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior sales experience in value-added products/services is preferred.
• Experience in the commercial construction industry, PVF industry, or mechanical products is preferred.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• History of developing and maintaining long-term relationships.

• Solid project management abilities.
