This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Acquire knowledge of Victaulic’s entire product range and articulate how its solutions assist clients in completing projects efficiently and within budget.
• Attain proficiency in grooved mechanical pipe joining techniques, as well as competing welding and flanging methods.
• Comprehend construction timelines and recognize key construction, expansion, and retrofit initiatives.
• Track market trends and observe competitor activities.
• Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate business plans, opportunity maps, sales objectives, product promotion strategies, and sales tactics.
• Oversee project pursuits from the initial stages through design, specifications, drawings, bidding, on-site training, final commissioning, and post-sale follow-up.
• Collect quotation data and guide inside sales, engineering, and support teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Build rapport with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
• Dedicate quality time to customers, including evenings and weekends for dinners, sporting events, and social engagements.
• Collaborate with distributors and maintain a well-balanced distribution network.
• Coordinate with other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists.
• Identify customer needs and inform clients about the value of Victaulic products.
• Conduct tool demonstrations and installation training at job sites.
• Present lunch-and-learn sessions to engineers.
• Persuade decision-makers by showcasing product value to enhance sales opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior sales experience with “value-added” products/services is preferred, particularly in commercial construction, PVF (pipes, valves, fittings), or mechanical products.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays as required by the territory.
• Capability to work in challenging weather conditions.
• Ability to manage equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

• Self-motivated and driven; capable of working remotely with minimal oversight.
