This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the designated territory.
• Promote and sell the complete range of products available.
• Oversee sales and marketing initiatives with assigned Integrated Delivery Networks and selected dealers.
• Adhere to corporate distributor programs to ensure comprehensive supply-chain delivery to end users.
• Cultivate relationships with representatives and management from distribution and group purchasing organizations.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons to fulfill regional business goals.
• Coordinate with National Accounts, Marketing, and other departments to identify and resolve opportunities and challenges.
• Record daily sales activities in Salesforce.com.
• Maintain up-to-date profiles of current and potential customers along with relevant customer documentation.
• Gather, analyze, and present competitive intelligence.
• Communicate new product, promotional, and product extension suggestions to management.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, monthly reports, expense accounts, problem-solving reports, and other relevant territory or industry reports.
• Complete PDI University educational modules and webinars.
• Attend and engage in local strategic partner chapter meetings, such as APIC, AVA, and EVS.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with basic sales strategies.
• Understanding of business development processes.
• Solid knowledge of the acute care market.
• Strongly recommended knowledge in Infection Prevention, Vascular Access, Environmental Services, and Surgical Suite applications.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with both Acute Care and B2B-facing organizations.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience with Salesforce.com reporting or other CRM tools.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Proven strategic focus.
• A strong drive for achieving success.
• Demonstrated skills in building relationships.
• Ability to challenge conventional thinking.
• Capability to work in healthcare environments, potentially requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
