This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Generate, qualify, and oversee sales leads, prospects, and new customer accounts to achieve or surpass sales targets.
• Identify and explore new markets and customer segments.
• Enhance existing customer relationships and cultivate new business connections within the designated territory.
• Conduct territory mapping of key accounts, contacts, and impactful activities.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies and objectives for each product and service offered.
• Create an annual Territory Plan.
• Follow up on both direct and indirect sales opportunities, documenting relevant information in the Andor CRM tool.
• Manage relationships with key accounts, including negotiations on pricing and terms.
• Provide forecast data to support the company’s Sales & Operations Planning.
• Coordinate product specifications tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Andor engineering and product management to deliver profitable solutions for customers.
• Maintain and report on sales forecasts, potential sales opportunities, customer feedback, activity plans, and other relevant reports.
• Train end users and conduct equipment demonstrations for customers.
• Establish and nurture industry contacts while gathering market intelligence to aid in product development and company strategy.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a science, engineering, or business field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior field sales role or 4 years of general sales experience.
• Proven experience in selling or supporting technical and high-value products within the physical science sector.
• Strong foundation in business development, including relationship-building and comprehensive customer engagement across various departments and functions.
• Results-driven with the ability to work independently.
• Capability to foster business relationships across diverse cultures, functions, and personalities.
• Solid technical knowledge with the ability to convey technical information clearly and understandably.
• Willingness to travel at least 40% of working time, including 30% overnight travel.
• Flexibility to work beyond core hours when necessary.
• Ability to operate from a home office with a disciplined work ethic.
