Territory Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee and cultivate a territory of independent agents

• Identify new agency partners and foster strong relationships with agents

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales objectives

• Propel new business policy and premium growth

• Analyze agency business mix, retention, and profitability outcomes

• Onboard and educate agencies on Hallmark products and best practices

• Deliver impactful presentations to large audiences and influence behaviors through consultative selling

• Assess agency relationships for their profitability

• Participate in industry conventions, events, and association groups

• Share insights on industry trends, competitor developments, product feedback, and market opportunities

• Maintain up-to-date records of field activities, contact information, sales strategies, agency appointment documents, and other necessary reports

• Regularly travel within the designated territory as a field sales representative

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or 3-5 years of experience in insurance sales

• Solid understanding of non-standard auto insurance operations, including claims, coverage, products, and underwriting

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Capability to analyze and interpret data through spreadsheets

• Skill in interpreting statistical data from company records and creating action plans based on insights

• Effective problem-solving abilities

• Adaptable nature and highly motivated self-starter

• Must be willing to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory

• Anticipated overnight travel of 30%
