This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Increase market presence within the trade channel by selling through wholesale distributors.
• Provide training for wholesale personnel and contractors.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies for the complete range of HVACR products in the designated territory.
• Engage directly in the sales process and contribute to the development of sales plans.
• Meet or surpass revenue and margin targets for the territory.
• Suggest product requirements and identify marketing opportunities to Product Line Managers to influence product mix and expand product offerings.
• Manage the sales process, performance validation, and revenue results for designated strategic accounts.
• Utilize the DiversiTech Account Management Sales process and the Keep, Convert, Grow opportunity management pipeline.
• Build and maintain new customer relationships while enhancing existing ones.
• Boost product sales via wholesale distribution channels.
• Visit corporate and branch locations of wholesale distributors within the territory alongside Demand Generation and Marketing teams.
• Assist in annual Account Discovery planning for customer Value Confirmation.
• Implement Pipeline Opportunity management for assigned accounts in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, Sales Operations, and Demand Generation team.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales process reviews.
• Achieve or exceed set sales budget targets.
• Evaluate, identify, and recommend products in conjunction with engineering and sourcing departments.
• Work with the Pricing Manager on pricing strategies for product lines.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate and execute territory sales and marketing strategies.
• Contribute to the organization's strategic objectives to enhance territory sales.
• Attend sales conferences and trade shows as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of HVACR products, two-step distribution sales models, and commercial customers in the US HVACR market.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Proactive self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of interacting with all levels of employees, including executive management and customers.
• Professional sales abilities and persuasive communication skills demonstrated in both individual and group presentations.
• Skilled at engaging decision-makers and securing commitments.
• Strong listening and probing abilities to comprehend customer needs.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Capacity to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Travel required: 75–100%.
• Remote work from a home office.
• Occasional overtime may be necessary.
