
Territory Manager, Surgical Wound Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Promote and sell the range of surgical products to meet sales objectives, quotas, and profitability targets.
• Identify and develop new target accounts, create new business opportunities, and enhance sales within existing accounts.
• Formulate and sustain action plans on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis by evaluating territory performance, sales metrics, and reports.
• Recognize, prioritize, and effectively pursue opportunities to close sales.
• Ensure efficient product usage by trained Health Care Professionals in the designated territory.
• Build and nurture relationships within operating rooms, nursing units, physician offices, care coordinators, cath labs, labor and delivery, and various care settings.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products, channels, and distribution methods.
• Comprehend clinical evidence and communicate the evidence-based value proposition effectively.
• Exhibit clinical knowledge of targeted surgical procedures.
• Maximize the use of educational and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) events.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Keep the Regional Sales Manager updated on territory developments.
• Organize schedules and manage time efficiently.
• Participate in national, regional, and local meetings as necessary.
• Represent Convatec in a professional manner at scheduled meetings.
• Comply with travel, compliance, business conduct, ethics, and relevant industry code policies.
• Collaborate with hospitals, surgeons, WOCNs, sales leadership, marketing, channel management, and strategic accounts teams.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• At least two years of experience in Medical Sales is required within a complex selling environment.
• Proven track record of success in a competitive, growth-oriented sales environment is preferred.
• Experience in Operating Room (OR) sales or surgical experience is preferred.
• Documented sales success with rankings and awards is essential.
• Experience selling through distributors is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).

• Normal hearing, visual acuity, and manual dexterity are required.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy objects, occasionally up to forty (40) pounds.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory area.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends may be necessary.
