
Territory Manager, Structural Heart – Cardiac Surgery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Promote and support the Surgical Valves division of Abbott Structural Heart.
• Collaborate proactively with the Regional Sales Director and Senior Territory Manager.
• Formulate business growth strategies and risk management plans to meet sales goals within designated accounts.
• Negotiate customer contracts and identify opportunities for market expansion.
• Foster relationships and work in partnership with healthcare providers.
• Observe and convey market trends and competitive activities to Abbott Surgical Valve leadership.
• Create and execute sales strategies tailored to the product and reimbursement needs of assigned accounts.
• Advocate for Abbott products and enhance sales revenue within designated accounts.
• Work alongside interventionalists, echocardiologists, sonographers, cardiac anesthesiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and catheter lab management.
• Generate patient referrals, coordinate procedures, and ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with the local Senior Account Manager for clinical case coverage, technical assistance, in-service programs, and training.
• Develop action plans on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Analyze sales data, reports, market information, and other analytics.
• Discuss emerging issues and trends with the Regional Sales Director to support the achievement of sales targets.
• BS/BA or equivalent experience is required.
• A degree in Life Sciences or Marketing is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant sales experience in the medical device sector, ideally in cardiovascular or structural heart, or equivalent clinical background.
• Experience with products utilized in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.
• Knowledge of echocardiology and other indirect imaging techniques.
• Strong organizational, communication, and procedural skills.
• Ability to assist in business planning, strategic planning, forecasting, sales processes, and inventory management.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more.
• Confirmation of compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
