This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Serve as a field-based Territory Manager for the MitraClip division.
• Ensure the territory assigned achieves or surpasses sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and attain annual sales goals.
• Coordinate activities with clinical consultants.
• Negotiate contracts with external clients.
• Keep the organization updated on market trends and competitive activities.
• Schedule sales meetings with existing and prospective clients to achieve revenue and unit growth goals.
• Develop and execute account sales strategies based on product requirements, competitive landscape, and pricing considerations.
• Analyze sales data and reports to formulate action plans.
• Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and customer clinical requirements.
• Observe procedures within hospital laboratories and operating rooms.
• Establish pricing packages tailored to specific customers while adhering to company guidelines.
• Build relationships with hospital staff and recognize purchasing decision-makers.
• Provide training to customers, including VIP trips, orientations, product launches, and updates.
• Participate in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
• Educate customers through presentations and product demonstrations.
• Maintain clinical and technical expertise through ongoing product training.
• Monitor managed care, competitor strategies, product development, and market signals.
• Prepare and submit reports to sales management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of relevant cardiovascular work experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in sales of Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable devices.
• Confirmation that you will meet all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Strong orientation towards sales and clinical aspects.
• Experience with products utilized in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.
• Preference for familiarity with echocardiology and other indirect imaging techniques.
• Degree in Life Sciences or Marketing is preferred.
