This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote and implement sales strategies for authorized Esperion products within the designated region.
• Carry out personal promotional activities as part of the field sales team.
• Execute Esperion sales methodologies utilizing approved sales and marketing tools.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Meet individual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Review performance metrics in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Build and sustain business relationships with key clients.
• Educate and promote to Healthcare Providers through one-on-one meetings, virtual interactions, promotional speaker events, and other sanctioned programs.
• Analyze local market conditions and develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance appropriate product utilization.
• Utilize sales and marketing resources to accomplish business goals.
• Stay informed about product payer coverage and meet market access objectives.
• Participate in local, regional, and national conferences to promote Esperion brands.
• Complete administrative responsibilities such as managing sample inventory, call submissions, reporting, expense management, and vehicle mileage tracking.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and necessary training.
• Follow expense-reporting guidelines and comply with the designated territory budget.
• Maintain communication with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers.
• Organize and oversee performance to maximize territory potential.
• Coordinate sales and marketing initiatives and implement business strategies.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Market Access to enhance pull-through from both commercial and government payers.
• Maintain vendor credentialing to access customer sites.
• Undertake additional assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or another STEM field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of pharmaceutical or related sales experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Military background or similar experience demonstrating motivation and discipline is considered a plus.
• Experience interacting with or working alongside Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets Esperion's employment criteria.
• Proven history of consistently high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or comparable pursuits.
• Desire to thrive in a start-up environment or successful experience in an entrepreneurial sales framework.
