This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote authorized Esperion products in accordance with regulations to targeted clients within the designated territory.
• Implement sales strategies and follow Esperion's sales processes within the local area.
• Meet individual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Assess performance metrics in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Build and sustain business relationships with key clients.
• Educate and promote to Healthcare Professionals through personal meetings, virtual interactions, speaker programs, and other approved initiatives.
• Evaluate local market trends and develop, execute, and track performance initiatives.
• Utilize sales and marketing tools and resources to achieve business goals.
• Stay informed about product payer coverage and achieve market access objectives.
• Attend local, regional, and national conferences to promote Esperion brands.
• Handle administrative tasks, including sample inventory management, call submissions and reporting, expense tracking, and vehicle mileage documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and complete necessary compliance training.
• Foster effective communication among Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers.
• Monitor territory performance and optimize business potential.
• Coordinate Sales and Marketing efforts and implement business initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Market Access to enhance pull-through from commercial and government payers.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or another STEM field) is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or relevant sales, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience working with Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets Esperion's employment standards.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar pursuits.
• Interest in working in a start-up environment or demonstrated success in an entrepreneurial sales model.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and effectively engage with diverse audiences, including clients, colleagues, and scientific and technical leaders.

• Capacity to maintain vendor credentialing requirements, such as VendorMate and RepTrax.
