This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote authorized Esperion products on-label to targeted clients within the designated territory.
• Implement Esperion sales strategies and processes within the local area.
• Meet individual territory sales objectives approved by Commercial Leadership.
• Review performance metrics with the Regional Sales Manager to enhance sales outcomes.
• Build and sustain business relationships with key clients.
• Promote and educate Healthcare Providers through one-on-one meetings, virtual interactions, approved speaker programs, and other sanctioned initiatives.
• Analyze local market trends and track performance to optimize appropriate product usage.
• Utilize sales and marketing tools and resources to meet business goals.
• Stay informed about product payor coverage and achieve market access objectives.
• Attend local, regional, and national conferences to promote Esperion brands.
• Complete administrative duties including sample inventory, call submission and reporting, expense management, and vehicle mileage reporting.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, training, and company values.
• Follow expense-report guidelines and comply with the allocated territory budget.
• Collaborate and communicate with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers.
• Monitor territory performance to ensure alignment between Sales and Marketing efforts.
• Work alongside sales leadership and Market Access to maximize pull-through from commercial and government payers.
• Maintain vendor credentialing requirements to access customer locations.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields of study include sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or other STEM disciplines).
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or relevant sales, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience engaging with or collaborating with Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays for territory business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record that meet Esperion's employment standards.
• Proven track record of achieving high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar areas.
• Interest in working in a start-up environment or successful experience in an entrepreneurial sales model.

• Capability to influence and effectively engage with diverse audiences, including customers, colleagues, and scientific and technical leaders.
