This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Promote and distribute Orthofix products and services to meet or surpass sales targets for both total and individual product segments.

• Deliver direct, personalized, and timely consultative service to physicians, patients, managed care organizations, authorized distributors, and industry stakeholders.

• Offer education and support to local and national hospital accounts to help implement policy and strategy.

• Attend local, state, and national meetings and conventions as necessary.

• Identify and develop new target accounts, including physicians and third-party payers, while maintaining relationships with existing accounts.

• Train medical staff and patients on the proper use and care of Orthofix products.

• Enhance technical and sales skills, demonstrating proficiency in Orthofix product knowledge, clinical tools, and sales tools.

• Prepare reports and execute programs and policies as directed by the Regional VP of Sales and National VP of Sales.

• Provide prompt service and problem resolution for clinicians and patients.

• Complete sales-order paperwork, including patient prescriptions and letters of medical necessity from surgeons.

• Oversee Associate Territory Managers on a daily basis, if applicable.

• Maintain consistent attendance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Previous medical experience engaging with both physician offices and hospitals is advantageous.

• Proven success in selling within the managed healthcare or third-party payer environment is a plus.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively, exhibiting poise, depth of thought, and sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Capability to present information to individuals and larger groups.

• Exceptional technical competency regarding product knowledge and surgical procedures is beneficial.

• Ability to provide management with insights on policy and procedure matters.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Must be able to repeatedly lift and transport products and literature to customer locations throughout the day.

• Lifting capacity of approximately 20–30 pounds.

• Expected to travel approximately 90% within the territory by plane, car, etc.

• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required for travel by car.
