Territory Manager, OTS – Fracture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Promote and distribute Orthofix products and services to meet or exceed sales targets for both total and individual product segments.

• Deliver direct, personal, and prompt consultative services to physicians, patients, managed care organizations, and other payers.

• Represent Orthofix in a professional manner and adjust outreach efforts as healthcare conditions evolve.

• Provide education and support to local and national hospital accounts to facilitate the implementation of policies and strategies.

• Attend local, state, and national meetings and conventions as necessary.

• Identify and develop new target accounts, including physicians and third-party payers.

• Maintain relationships with existing accounts for current and future Bone Growth Therapy Division products.

• Train medical personnel and patients on the proper use and care of Orthofix products.

• Continuously enhance technical and sales skills while demonstrating proficiency with Orthofix products, clinical tools, and sales tools.

• Prepare reports and implement programs and policies as directed by the Regional VP of Sales and National VP of Sales.

• Provide timely customer service and address problem-solving for clinicians and patients.

• Complete necessary paperwork to process sales orders, including patient prescriptions and letters of medical necessity from surgeons.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must reside in the Dallas market and be capable of covering East Texas.

• 1-3 years of sales experience is required.

• Related medical experience working with physician offices and hospitals is advantageous.

• Proven success in selling within the managed health care or insurance payer environment is a plus.

• Strong articulation skills demonstrating poise, depth of thought, good judgment, and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to present to both individuals and larger groups.

• Ability to advise management on policy and procedure matters.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Must be able to lift and transport products and literature to customer sites repeatedly throughout the day.

• Lifting capacity of approximately 20-30 pounds.

• Travel within the territory by car is required about 90% of the time.

• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are mandatory when traveling by car.
