This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Formulate and implement strategies, including resource development and allocation, to achieve patient implant and revenue objectives.
• Ensure the effective execution of strategies and attainment of territory metrics.
• Utilize Salesforce, Salesforce dashboards, forecasting tools, and CVRx commercial business applications; provide training to others as necessary.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of intricate physiological and technical principles related to CVRx technologies and therapies.
• Assist with implants, follow-up procedures, and patient visits.
• Offer troubleshooting and technical support to healthcare providers and CVRx personnel.
• Investigate solutions for technical inquiries and issues.
• Represent CVRx devices to cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons.
• Deliver on-call clinical support, troubleshooting assistance, physician training, and educational sessions for hospital staff.
• Provide feedback to R&D regarding product improvements and new product development suggestions.
• Adhere to sales management processes and reporting systems; ensure accurate device and programmer records are maintained in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal departments, physicians, healthcare professionals, investigators, and customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health sciences, engineering, or business; a combination of experience and education may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 7-10+ years of experience in sales and business development within the medical device industry, specifically with implantable medical devices.
• Proven experience with products related to cardiology or cardiovascular health, heart failure therapeutic devices, cardiac surgery therapeutic devices, or similar device sales.
• Strong aptitude for mastering medical and surgical concepts as well as active implantable medical device technology.
• Familiarity with the cardiology device market and competitive products, including their strategies and pros/cons.
• Proven effectiveness in executing successful commercial strategies for market development and program selling.
• Experience working with KOLs, APPs, and other significant healthcare contacts within the assigned territory.
• Understanding of insurance authorization challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Capacity to forecast performance and achieve goals.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% annually, including occasional overnight travel.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Must possess valid identification approved for domestic air travel within the U.S.
• MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
• Direct healthcare or clinical experience is highly advantageous.
• Ability to comfortably lift up to 10 lbs.
