Territory Manager – Fracture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Promote and distribute Orthofix products and services to meet or exceed established sales quotas.

• Offer direct, personal, timely, and consultative support to physicians, patients, managed care organizations, and other payers.

• Represent Orthofix in a professional and straightforward manner.

• Provide education and support at both local and national hospital accounts.

• Support and implement policies and strategies effectively.

• Attend local, state, and national meetings and conventions as needed.

• Develop new target accounts, including physicians and third-party payers.

• Maintain relationships with existing accounts for current and future Bone Growth Therapy Division products.

• Train medical personnel and patients on the proper use and care of Orthofix products.

• Continuously enhance technical and sales skills.

• Exhibit proficiency in the technical knowledge of Orthofix products, clinical tools, and sales instruments.

• Prepare reports and execute programs and policies as directed by the Regional VP of Sales and National VP of Sales.

• Provide prompt service and problem-solving support to clinicians and patients.

• Complete necessary paperwork for executing sales orders, including prescriptions and letters of medical necessity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in or near Santa Barbara, CA.

• 1-3 years of sales experience is required.

• Related medical experience engaging with both physician offices and hospitals is advantageous.

• Proven success in selling within the managed health care or insurance payer environment is a plus.

• Ability to articulate effectively, demonstrating poise, thoughtfulness, and sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Capability to present to both individuals and larger groups.

• Ability to advise management on policy and procedure matters.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Must be capable of lifting and transporting products and literature to customer sites repeatedly throughout the day.

• Lifting capacity is approximately 20-30 pounds.

• Travel within the territory by car is required about 90% of the time.

• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required when traveling by car.
