This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Meet or surpass sales targets while effectively managing the designated territory on a daily basis.
• Engage directly with epileptologists, neurologists, neuroscientists, physicians, clinicians, staff, patients, and their families concerning VNS Therapy.
• Foster therapy advocates and create targeted plans for physician engagement.
• Recognize obstacles to the adoption of VNS Therapy and formulate strategies to address them.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers and physicians.
• Develop value propositions with surgeons to ensure adequate surgical capacity.
• Inform referring physicians and community accounts about treatment gaps in DRE, quality measures, and LivaNova resources.
• Conduct product demonstrations on-site.
• Educate and train fellows and residents on DRE treatments and VNS Therapy.
• Provide education, product support, and training for staff, patients, and families post-implant.
• Keep physicians and clinic follow-up staff updated on product releases and hardware/software updates.
• Address technical inquiries and offer solutions.
• Offer on-site surgical case coverage, follow-up assistance, troubleshooting, and technical support during dosing sessions.
• Collect PIQ and/or PAF from patients, caregivers, and physicians.
• Negotiate pricing and agreements, manage inventory, and secure orders with purchasing managers.
• Monitor account performance, identify challenges, and proactively address risks.
• Participate in professional outreach initiatives and support DRE educational programs.
• Collaborate with case management for patient education and account interactions.
• Lead weekly territory team meetings and physician targeting sessions.
• Implement routing and targeted call strategies.
• Fulfill administrative responsibilities accurately and punctually.
• Represent LivaNova in a professional manner while adhering to the company's ethical and moral standards.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
• Report directly to the Regional Manager.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience in the medical field, ideally in a consultative role such as medical device or pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong work ethic coupled with a resilient focus on achieving results.
• Proven ability to cultivate value-based relationships with physicians.
• Capability to engage with patients in a clinical setting.
• Experience in process orientation and resource management/allocation.
• Proficient in multitasking.
• Ability to analyze trends and data, translating insights into actionable improvements.
• Self-motivated and independent thinker capable of working autonomously.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and patients at all levels.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to LivaNova's mission.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred in life sciences, nursing, allied health, or business.
• Must reside within the geographic area of the territory.
• The position may necessitate business travel of 40% or more of the time.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually.
• Opportunities for commission.
