This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive the growth of new business and ensure customer success within the Edwards Plateau region of West Texas.
• Implement sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
• Serve as Halter’s local representative on the ground.
• Generate leads through outbound prospecting, participation in local cattle auctions, engagement with industry associations, and handling inbound inquiries.
• Conduct in-field sales at ranches while showcasing the advantages of Halter’s virtual fencing technology.
• Cultivate existing customer relationships and identify opportunities for upselling.
• Oversee the sales pipeline, assessing leads for qualification or disqualification.
• Maintain relationships with customers post-sale and provide ongoing support.
• Ensure an efficient transition to customer onboarding and deployment teams.
• Manage the entire customer experience during the onboarding and deployment phases.
• Collect and advocate for customer feedback from within the territory.
• Work alongside Product, Support, and Customer Onboarding teams to address issues effectively.
• Attend industry events and Halter functions, engage in demonstrations, and generate new leads.
• Take ownership of the territory and foster relationships with agricultural organizations and local, state, and federal agencies.
• Provide field insights to enhance the US sales strategy and process improvements.
• Travel frequently throughout the territory.
• Experience in ranching or cattle operations.
• Proven track record of creating new business opportunities.
• Proficient in negotiating value-based sales discussions.
• Experience in establishing enduring customer relationships.
• Background in managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably in agriculture or technology.
• Resourceful problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
• Proactive, results-oriented, motivated, adaptable, and well-prepared.
• Strong communication skills with both customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies is a plus.
• Experience in customer-facing roles within agricultural technology is advantageous.
• Background in selling B2B SaaS solutions is a bonus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
