This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote therapy adoption, establish new accounts, and enhance CardioMEMS revenue.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with physicians, heart failure clinics, administrators, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver clinical, technical, and strategic presentations to enhance understanding and adoption of therapy.
• Lead discussions on pricing, negotiate contracts, and engage in value-based conversations.
• Organize and carry out educational events focused on hemodynamics, GDMT, published data, biomarkers, patient selection, and local case studies.
• Provide support during procedures and troubleshoot post-operative issues.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets while implementing quarterly business plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Professional Education, and Commercial Excellence teams.
• Monitor territory performance, customer engagement, and pipeline activities.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and pinpoint opportunities for account growth.
• Work in partnership with Clinical Account Representatives on strategies for priority accounts.
• Build long-lasting relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Submit sales reports, forecasts, and insights on competitors.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities at implanting and community sites.
• Develop and implement territory strategies to enhance market share and promote sustainable adoption.
• Stay informed about CardioMEMS, competitive products, and alternative therapies.
• Provide on-call technical, clinical, and engineering support for field inquiries and procedural needs.
• Offer procedural case coverage across the region.
• Assist heart failure clinics with training, education, clinical data collection, and new product introductions.
• Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Maintain precise documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and expenses.
• Collaborate with internal partners, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Interact with patients professionally and compliantly when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct experience in healthcare sales.
• 2+ years of experience in cardiology structural heart/heart failure preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving ≥100% of quota for two consecutive years.
• Demonstrated success in opening 3–5+ new accounts per year or expanding underdeveloped accounts for sustained utilization.
• Strong understanding of the payer and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Recent launch experience preferred, including leading 2–3 program or therapy launches per year with evidence of sustainability.
• Experience in pre-launch planning, stakeholder alignment, executive sponsorship, training, education, clinical workflow integration, post-launch support, and long-term sustainability planning.
• Experience in driving program implementation and ongoing program maturity, including HF clinic onboarding, remote monitoring workflow development, utilization ramp, and adoption metrics.
• Strong executive presence and capability to deliver clinical/technical presentations to audiences ranging from 1 to 50 stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional buying groups and various key stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to create data-driven territory strategies, forecasting models, and QBRs using CRM platforms, analytics, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% within the territory, including some overnight and early/late case support.
• Preferred experience in Cath Lab environments.
• Experience at leading MedTech organizations preferred.
• Familiarity with operating in a competitive market with multiple industry players preferred.
• Familiarity with Cath lab/OR workflows preferred.
