This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to assess their financing requirements.
• Discover portfolio expansion opportunities by showcasing financing solutions and advocating for Westlake Floorplan Company’s offerings.
• Perform market research to maintain a competitive edge and align services with industry trends.
• Supervise the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experiences.
• Offer training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Monitor dealership conditions and performance regularly.
• Develop and sustain risk assessment models to assess dealership creditworthiness.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer activity, and payment trends.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial knowledge with a practical understanding of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with both internal team members and external partners at different organizational levels.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field with 3 years of pertinent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel over 75%, including some overnight trips.
• Capacity to travel, fly, and drive as necessary.
• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this role.
