This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Drive revenue growth and enhance market share across New Zealand.
• Implement strategic sales initiatives and discover new opportunities in Clinical Point of Care and Blood Gas sectors.
• Build and nurture relationships with clinical stakeholders, laboratory staff, procurement teams, and key decision-makers across both the North and South Islands.
• Oversee existing healthcare accounts while actively pursuing new business avenues.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM data, including account histories and opportunity pipelines.
• Provide sales forecasts and business reports to regional leadership utilizing Salesforce and Power BI.
• Leverage market data and insights from Power BI to identify target accounts and optimize travel plans.
• Independently manage account strategies and territory planning.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Clinical PoC and Blood Gas product portfolio.
• Position solutions effectively against competitor offerings and segment the market accordingly.
• Implement marketing initiatives, regional events, and cross-functional collaborations.
• Carry out additional duties that support business objectives and regional growth targets.
• Tertiary qualifications in a science, medical technology, or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record in sales within medical devices, point-of-care diagnostics, or healthcare capital equipment.
• Demonstrated skills in territory management, self-management, business planning, and strategic execution.
• In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand healthcare system, including hospital workflows, procurement processes, and clinical stakeholder management.
• Proficient in CRM and sales analytics tools, specifically Salesforce and Power BI.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of successful B2B territory sales experience in medical devices, IVD diagnostics, or clinical equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience in autonomously managing a large geographic territory, account planning, and field travel.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Salesforce CRM or a similar system, along with data platforms like Power BI.
• Possession of a full, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand’s North and South Islands, including up to 40–50% overnight travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Capability to operate a motor vehicle safely and sit for extended periods during regional travel.
• Ability to manage frequent domestic flights and overnight travel.
• Capacity to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment, demonstration units, and marketing materials weighing up to 20 kg (44 lbs).
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks involving computers and diagnostic devices.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend frequently in clinical, hospital, and laboratory settings.
• Willingness to wear necessary personal protective equipment, including lab coats, safety glasses, masks, and gloves.
