This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver support and training related to Job Order Contracting (JOC) products and services for clients in a designated geographic area.

• Develop and maintain schedules of detailed activities to achieve procurement goals within established timelines.

• Execute and comply with project procedures from the identification stage through construction execution for various Job Orders.

• Aid in the oversight and review of project scopes of work.

• Examine proposals and ensure adherence to contract requirements through the notice to proceed and during construction execution.

• Interpret and comprehend construction plans and specifications.

• Perform thorough evaluations of price proposals.

• Generate and assess detailed construction line-item proposals.

• Educate contractors on Gordian software and client protocols.

• Assist clients with contract bidding processes.

• Engage with clients and internal team members to guarantee that projects are finalized on schedule and within budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting related to both facilities and road construction is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in commercial public construction operations, pricing, and contracting, including scope development and estimating/price proposal formulation.

• Exceptional analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, both in development and in the field.

• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities.

• Adaptability, strategic thinking, problem-solving aptitude, goal-oriented mindset, client-centered focus, capacity to deliver results, deadline adherence, time management skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Competency in creating and producing custom tracking documents and reports.

• Experience in construction documentation and administration is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Job Order Contracting or IDIQ experience is required.

• Thorough understanding of public procurement and project delivery methods and requirements.

• Willingness to travel 30–50%.
