This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Provide assistance and training for Gordian products and services focusing on Job Order Contracting for clients within a designated geographic region.
• Prepare and maintain schedules detailing activities to achieve procurement goals within specified timelines.
• Implement and follow project procedures from project identification through construction execution for various Job Orders.
• Aid in overseeing the development and evaluation of project scopes of work.
• Review proposals and ensure compliance with contracts from notice to proceed through construction execution.
• Read and comprehend construction plans and specifications.
• Conduct thorough reviews of price proposals.
• Create and assess comprehensive construction line-item proposals.
• Train contractors on Gordian software and client procedures.
• Assist in client contract bidding processes.
• Communicate with clients and internal team members to guarantee projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in construction project management, construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting, preferably in both facilities and road construction.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial public construction operations, pricing and contracting, including scope development and estimating/price proposal creation.
• High-level analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to effectively manage multiple projects in development and in the field at the same time.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Flexibility, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, goal-oriented, client-focused, with the ability to deliver results.
• Capacity to meet both client and corporate deadlines.
• Proficient time management skills.
• Self-motivated; capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to develop and produce custom tracking documents and reports.
• Background in construction documentation and administration is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience with Job Order Contracting or IDIQ is preferred, but not required.
• Comprehensive understanding of various public procurement and project delivery methods and requirements.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% within the assigned geographic area.
• Must reside in or near the Baton Rouge area.
