This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of and cultivate customer relationships within a collaborative selling framework.
• Guide customers on ordering platforms while offering menu consultations, product suggestions, and pricing strategies.
• Drive sales to customers, enhance case growth, and secure new business opportunities.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and customize sales strategies to meet individual customer needs.
• Effectively manage time and territory.
• Partner with Specialists to identify top penetration opportunities and initiate new account openings.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Identify potential customers using market intelligence databases, business directories, existing-client referrals, organizations, clubs, trade shows, and conferences.
• Oversee deliveries in accordance with the transportation department’s routing schedule.
• Address order-processing issues, including delivery errors, short loads, and stock-outs.
• Keep track of market conditions, product advancements, and competitors’ offerings, pricing, and sales strategies.
• Provide customers with competitive and market insights as part of added-value services.
• Conduct regular check-ins with customers, site visits, and follow-ups within the assigned territory.
• Work outside the office daily in varying weather and temperature conditions.
• No direct reports.
• A minimum of 1 year of preferred sales experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory, and the motor vehicle record must be in good standing.
• Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills along with effective presentation abilities.
• Capability to establish internal and external relationships and cold call to generate new business.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A competitive attitude with a desire to surpass objectives.
• Problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and negotiation expertise.
• A team-oriented mindset to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is advantageous.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs.
• Capability to drive a personal vehicle for regular check-ins, site visits, and follow-ups.
