This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Advocate for Tandem Diabetes products and services within the designated territory.
• Strategize and accomplish sales objectives for the territory.
• Recognize potential clients and build professional relationships.
• Offer account sales support and ongoing education to patients, healthcare providers, and Clinical Educators regarding insulin pump therapy.
• Ensure the territory meets or surpasses company targets.
• Identify sales opportunities and evaluate prospecting standards.
• Deliver product and service details to healthcare professionals and encourage them to endorse Tandem products.
• Distinguish Tandem offerings for healthcare practitioners.
• Inform prospects and customers about healthcare developments, online solutions, products, services, and outcomes.
• Build and nurture professional connections with healthcare practitioners.
• Drive strategic business planning, forecasting, and territory goals.
• Present product and service information directly to consumers at health fairs, conventions, and promotional events.
• Participate in corporate sales training, meetings, conventions, and symposia.
• Keep customer records updated in CRM software.
• Collaborate with Pump Therapy Sales Specialists on pre- and post-sales matters and inquiries.
• Maintain company property, equipment, records, sales aids, and samples.
• Develop and uphold a territory call schedule.
• Compile weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Manage expenses and submit expense reports.
• Track mileage using the Motus system and submit reimbursement requests.
• Complete necessary training prior to taking on job responsibilities.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies, privacy/PIPEDA regulations, legal standards, and safety guidelines.
• Travel within the Ottawa/Kingston area and to Peterborough as required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Over 3 years of pertinent sales experience in the industry, ideally in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care.
• Capability to effectively connect with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
• Proven ability to communicate successfully with customers to resolve issues and address inquiries in line with company guidelines and requirements.
• Skill in advocating ideas and persuading others by consolidating, assessing, and presenting pertinent information.
• Ability to foster teamwork and commitment to collective success.
• Competence to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving market while advocating for business enhancements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet, along with familiarity with CRM software.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% within the assigned territory and work from a remote home office.
• Valid driver's license, necessary auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Availability to travel to the United States for training and business meetings.
• Capability to travel independently by car or airplane in the field at least 80% of the time and work after hours when necessary.
• Authorization to work for any employer in Canada.
• Target earning potential ranging from C$139,000 to C$161,000 annually.
• Remote work from home office.
