This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Expand the designated geographical territory by evaluating, strategizing, and improving the distribution of STIHL products through both existing and new dealers.
• Meet established objectives and initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to STIHL policies by dealers.
• Serve as the intermediary between dealers, the branch, and corporate.
• Analyze market conditions, the competitive landscape, and current dealers.
• Formulate strategies and promotions aimed at enhancing distribution and profitability, including booking and sales to dealers.
• Engage with and visit dealers to implement promotions, merchandising, and branch programs.
• Provide training to both new and existing dealers on STIHL programs.
• Organize and facilitate STIHL University training sessions.
• Initiate the development of new dealers and supervise store installations and initial training processes.
• Participate in and support regional trade shows and dealer events.
• Assist with assigned initiatives such as BER, EDGE, and New Dealer.
• Collaborate with dealers to create business/action plans that evaluate performance and outline future objectives.
• Maintain CRM, monthly field reports, and territory intelligence reports.
• Carry out dealer administration tasks including managing emails, follow-ups, scheduling, Outlook calendar upkeep, and STIHL website systems setup and maintenance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or discipline, or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and web-based applications.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Willingness to undertake extended overnight travel.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Commitment to enhancing skills through ongoing education and training resources.
• Self-motivated individual capable of performing well with minimal oversight.
• Experience with outdoor power equipment is preferred.
