This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +7 more states.
• Create and implement sales strategies for the territory to meet revenue and growth objectives.
• Discover and pursue new business avenues with dealers, contractors, municipalities, and rental firms.
• Showcase the Steelwrist product range through demonstrations, presentations, and client visits.
• Sustain a robust sales pipeline while providing accurate forecasts and reports.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements within the territory.
• Establish and nurture relationships with both current and potential dealers.
• Assist dealer sales teams through product training, ride-alongs, and technical support.
• Help dealers with pricing, product selection, and application advice.
• Organize and facilitate product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events.
• Ensure timely communication and exceptional service for customers.
• Efficiently manage travel schedules within the territory to enhance customer engagement.
• Keep CRM records, sales activity reports, and opportunity tracking up to date.
• Work collaboratively with support, marketing, production, and leadership teams.
• Aid in inventory planning and forecasting based on regional demand.
• Gain technical expertise in Steelwrist products and excavator attachment applications.
• Offer product suggestions based on machine size, customer applications, and jobsite criteria.
• Provide basic troubleshooting assistance and coordinate service support when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of excavators, attachments, and construction equipment applications.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and dealers.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Reside within the assigned territory.
• Experience with dealer distribution networks is preferred.
• Familiarity with tiltrotator systems and hydraulic attachment technology is preferred.
• Prior experience with CRM reporting is preferred.
• Capability to work outdoors at job sites, dealerships, and construction environments.
• Ability to lift demonstration materials and equipment components as required.
• Occasional support for weekends and trade shows may be necessary.
