This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Execute established sales strategies and assess their impact.
• Cultivate relationships with architects, general contractors, installers, specification writers/creators, and other stakeholders in the construction community.
• Shape the specification process and establish a strong specification presence for Nichiha products.
• Forge partnerships with general contractors and installers to enhance product visibility.
• Identify leading general contractors and position Nichiha as the preferred cladding option.
• Recognize specified or submitted projects and manage the project pipeline in Salesforce.com from order receipt onward.
• Record all activities in Salesforce.com.
• Deliver AIA/CES courses to architects and assist in developing new offerings.
• Provide product-knowledge training to general contractors and installers.
• Organize market intelligence on products, programs, shipping, and market segments.
• Collaborate with Nichiha staff to offer technical support, training, project initiation, dealer and contractor assistance, and resolve issues.
• Oversee the sales process through dealer or distribution networks.
• Work with Field Technical personnel to cultivate a trained and consistent installer network.
• Engage in regional and national promotional and trade show events.
• Assist in product development and collect competitive activity and strategic directive insights.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
• Over 2 years of sales experience in a B2B setting (preferably in building materials sales).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships and maintain an extensive client database.
• Skilled in face-to-face sales interactions.
• Must be self-driven, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Capability to create compelling product and technical presentations.
• Exceptional presentation abilities.
• General understanding of the construction process.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
• Experience with Dodge Data.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce.com is preferred).
• Awareness of social media trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
