This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and nurture new business prospects by strategically targeting electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and healthcare administrators across hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and private practices.
• Create and implement growth plans for the territory that focus on market penetration, product adoption, and delivering long-term customer value.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and needs assessment to contract finalization and onboarding.
• Present data-driven sales presentations that convey the clinical and economic advantages of the Zio platform.
• Forge relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, and executive stakeholders to cultivate champions and long-term advocacy.
• Navigate intricate healthcare settings to foster strategic partnerships and facilitate account conversions.
• Develop and sustain a sales pipeline using Salesforce.com for accurate forecasting, territory planning, and reporting.
• Oversee account performance and operational health, including training, inventory management, workflow optimization, and growth in usage.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Customer Experience (CX), Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), Payer Relations, Billing, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
• Assess territory performance, market trends, and competitive activities to refine strategies and uncover differentiation opportunities.
• Provide leadership with insights on territory dynamics, customer requirements, and market changes.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience is required.
• At least 3 years in medical device or healthcare technology sales is essential.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Documented success in gaining market share, launching new territories/products, or displacing incumbents through value-based selling methodologies.
• Proven capability to develop and implement strategic sales plans in complex settings.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with solid business acumen, adaptability, and resilience is crucial.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
• Must be willing to travel extensively within the territory, approximately 4.5 days per week in the field, with occasional weeknights and overnight travel as necessary.
