Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create a strategy to enhance the company's brand presence within the designated area.

• Secure dealer commitment and manage dealer orders.

• Conduct scheduled onsite dealer visits and record discussions and outcomes in the CRM system.

• Showcase equipment and offer product application training sessions.

• Support sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives.

• Familiarize dealers with the latest sales techniques.

• Monitor dealer inventory levels and implement business adjustments as necessary.

• Represent Husqvarna at trade shows, industry events, and dealer exhibitions.

• Build business relationships that promote dealer growth, performance, and success.

• Identify and onboard new dealers to achieve sales and market share objectives.

• Plan, assess, and enhance the performance of assigned dealers.

• Resolve issues for designated dealers effectively.

• Present products and promotional offers to customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conducting onsite sales calls.

• Reside in a location within the assigned territory deemed most effective for serving our customers.

• Previous sales experience in appliances, agricultural equipment, power tools, electronics, consumer goods, construction equipment, and/or power sports industries is preferred.

• Previous experience in dealer/distributor sales is preferred.

• Proven track record as a successful sales performer with strong negotiation skills.

• Ability to independently solve problems and translate expert knowledge into practical solutions.

• Understanding of market positioning from both financial and product perspectives.

• Experience in cold calling potential new accounts and presenting a compelling value proposition.

• Strong knowledge, interest, and enthusiasm for learning extensively about outdoor power equipment and the industry.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster high-quality working relationships.

• Strong organizational and planning skills; capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to learn and excel in in-house sales and customer relations programs.

• Capability to work with minimal supervision while being accountable for sales outcomes.

• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs to demonstrate equipment and set up for trade shows.
