This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Promote, sell, and demonstrate the RIDGID® and Greenlee® tool lines and equipment from Emerson Professional Tools.
• Lead the direction, coordination, and growth of sales in the utility market through direct customer engagement and collaboration with Professional Tools Territory Managers.
• Offer guidance and support to regional Territory Managers within a matrix-managed structure.
• Perform product demonstrations, customer training, and provide technical support for end users and distribution channel partners.
• Initiate and drive strategic sales initiatives for new products and solutions to broaden market opportunities and enhance market share.
• Formulate, present, and implement annual business plans to achieve additional sales growth and business objectives.
• Develop and manage precise monthly and annual sales forecasts.
• Keep track of economic indicators, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with distributor partners and end users.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding product applications, pricing strategies, and market solutions.
• Assist with regional and national training programs and special projects.
• Experience in working with distribution channels, particularly in electrical, industrial, and plumbing sectors.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or a related field; or at least five (5) years of relevant experience in place of a bachelor's degree.
• Proven success in developing, presenting, executing, and evaluating territory business plans that achieve additional sales growth.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets through strategic selling, solution-oriented offerings, and new product launches.
• Experience in conducting product demonstrations, customer training, and providing technical troubleshooting and application support for end users and distribution partners.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships with key distributor partners and end users.
• Experience in creating and managing monthly and annual sales forecasts.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective presentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM applications is advantageous.
• Capability to work in various environments including office, customer, distributor, and manufacturing settings while adhering to relevant safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver industrial tools and product inventory for demonstrations and trade shows.
• A preferred minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, marketing, or technical support within a business-to-business sales context.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
