This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Meet annual targets for sales, profitability, and market share within the designated territory.
• Create and implement growth strategies for the territory, emphasizing distributor expansion, OEM engagement, and end-user development.
• Establish and nurture relationships with distributors, fluid power integrators, OEMs, and key industrial clients.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across the manufacturing, mining, energy, and industrial sectors.
• Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations for customers.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams to carry out joint account strategies.
• Assist customers with product selection and application advice.
• Keep an active sales pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
• Track competitive activities and market trends.
• Represent Donaldson at industry trade exhibitions and customer events.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in industrial, fluid power, hydraulics, filtration, or other technical sales roles.
• Must be proficient in both written and spoken English and French.
• Experience in selling hydraulic filtration, fluid power, hydraulic components, industrial automation, or engineered industrial products.
• Familiarity with OEM, MRO, mobile equipment, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and energy sectors.
• Proven experience in building distributor and channel partner relationships.
• Strong skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and account management.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to influence stakeholders at various levels within customer organizations.
• Self-driven with robust business planning and territory management skills.
• Proven track record of managing a multi-state sales territory and achieving revenue growth targets.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel by air and automobile.
• Must reside in Ontario or Quebec.
• Must possess current and legal authorization to work in Canada without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight trips.
