This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct regular meetings with authorized Srixon/Cleveland Golf accounts within the designated Long Island territory.
• Articulate the company’s culture, values, principles, philosophy, programs, and product offerings.
• Perform sales and service visits; effectively communicate, inform, present, and process orders.
• Address customer and home office inquiries promptly and professionally, whether in person, via phone, or through email.
• Surpass customer expectations and foster a high-quality customer experience.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with customers and stakeholders involved in the sales process.
• Organize product knowledge training seminars as necessary.
• Facilitate at least one annual demo day, short game clinic, fitting day, or promotional event for staff and program accounts.
• Maintain an average of 4–6 sales calls per day during the season and 2–4 per day during the pre-book season.
• Drive sales growth through approved distribution channels.
• Oversee and process demo and personal-use product orders.
• Comply with company policies regarding credit, returns, and the global distribution strategy.
• Manage and maintain marketing collateral and secure prime display space for it.
• Identify potential new customer locations and assist with their onboarding.
• Keep the company updated on changes in customer status and contact details.
• Document and update visitation and demo-day activities.
• Attend company seminars, meetings, and regional or national trade shows as required.
• Submit plans for territory absence or vacation at least two weeks in advance for approval.
• Engage in annual performance reviews and implement follow-up directions, travel summaries, and feedback.
• Perform additional assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• A four-year college degree, preferably in marketing or a related business field; or equivalent job experience, which might include Customer Service, Tour, Tech Van, or similar roles, with a minimum of a high school diploma; or a combination of the above may be considered.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in computer skills and applications (such as Word or Excel).
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong language and math skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Must work effectively in team settings.
• Capacity to initiate and maintain communication with customers and the home office.
• Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism and to act on that feedback.
• Capability to stand, walk over uneven surfaces, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to operate a vehicle carrying product samples, displays, demo day tents, fitting carts, and supplies.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision capabilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus.
• Territory managers must not represent any other companies or products.
