This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive sales performance and foster business expansion within a designated region.
• Formulate, implement, and execute detailed territory business plans that align with corporate goals.
• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Oversee territory accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.
• Leverage CRM, sales analytics, and data sources to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory execution.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
• Build and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, pharmacies, health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Present clinically accurate product information tailored to the needs of the customer.
• Implement promotional initiatives, educational programs, speaker events, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure customer service excellence and responsiveness for sustained account growth.
• Acquire knowledge in product, disease states, clinical data, marketplace dynamics, competitors, treatment guidelines, payers, and the industry.
• Complete mandatory training and enhance expertise in products, markets, and sales techniques.
• Conduct business in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.
• Maintain precise CRM documentation and manage territory expenses within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated successful sales experience.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently while managing a territory and nurturing key customer relationships.
• Strong business insight and strategic planning capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Competence in effectively conveying clinical and scientific information.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving history.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and air travel.
• Preference for candidates with pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
• Ideal candidates will have pharmaceutical sales, specialty pharmaceutical experience, relevant specialty knowledge, familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels, along with top sales performance recognition.
