This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel sales performance and foster business development within a designated region.
• Formulate, implement, and execute a thorough territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals.
• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Treat the territory as a business, prioritizing accounts and resources to enhance return on investment.
• Leverage CRM systems, sales analytics, and other data sources to refine targeting, call planning, and territory operations.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and other healthcare decision-makers.
• Provide clinically accurate product presentations tailored to the needs of customers.
• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker engagements, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and responsiveness to facilitate long-term account growth.
• Cultivate and retain knowledge of Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.
• Communicate intricate clinical information effectively in customer settings.
• Remain informed on competitor actions, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.
• Complete necessary training and enhance product, market, and sales expertise.
• Conduct business operations in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.
• Comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards, including sample accountability.
• Maintain precise and timely CRM documentation.
• Manage territory expenses and resources within the approved budgetary limits.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience.
• A demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales goals.
• Proven capacity to work independently while managing a territory and key customer relationships.
• Strong business insight and strategic planning abilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to convey clinical and scientific information effectively.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel as required, including overnight and air travel.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is preferred.
• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Experience engaging with specialties such as Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or similar areas is preferred.
• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is preferred.
• A documented record of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be capable of manipulating a keyboard and operating a telephone and handheld devices.
