This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Drive sales performance and foster business growth within a designated territory.
• Develop, execute, and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals.
• Analyze performance metrics, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Manage the territory as a business, prioritizing accounts and resources effectively.
• Utilize CRM systems, sales analytics, and other data resources to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory execution.
• Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.
• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and other healthcare decision-makers.
• Provide clinically accurate product presentations customized to customer needs.
• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker events, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and responsiveness for long-term account expansion.
• Acquire knowledge of Azurity products, relevant disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.
• Accurately convey complex clinical information in customer interactions.
• Monitor competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.
• Complete mandatory training and enhance product, market, and sales expertise.
• Conduct business in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.
• Maintain CRM documentation and manage territory expenses within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience is essential.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales objectives.
• Ability to work independently while managing a territory and key customer relationships.
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in effectively communicating clinical and scientific information.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and air travel.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods; frequently stand, walk, talk, and/or hear.
• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate a keyboard, telephone, and handheld devices.
