This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.
• Propel sales revenue to surpass set quotas and contest criteria.
• Identify and cultivate viable new business opportunities.
• Conduct clinical evaluations, facilitate roundtable discussions on results, and assist in the implementation of standard new product programs.
• Establish and nurture strategic business relationships within key accounts and with BD Clinical Managers.
• Execute product demonstrations, provide customer education, and conduct in-services.
• Formulate monthly, quarterly, and annual strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Uphold a high standard of clinical knowledge specific to relevant disease states.
• Demonstrate excellence in territory management and sales techniques.
• Provide sales training to inside and field sales personnel as well as channel partners.
• Deliver sales modules, presentations, workshops, and develop sales training curricula.
• Manage expenses within territory budgets and allocate resources according to company policies.
• Maintain effective communication with the sales team, customer service, sales management, and home office personnel.
• Ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures, prioritizing patient safety and product excellence.
• Complete call reports, monthly performance reports, and various administrative tasks.
• Keep accurate records of customers and accounts.
• Attend and represent BD at local, regional, and national medical conferences.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Foster customer relationships through regular visits, compliance reviews, product in-services, and procedural observations.
• Navigate the territory with integrity while adhering to BD policies, rules, and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required.
• Minimum of three years of proven sales experience with a record of success.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in both verbal and written communications, with a focus on customer service, professionalism, negotiation, mentoring, and team building.
• High proficiency in comprehending written and spoken information.
• Strong listening and personal evaluation abilities.
• Capacity to adapt swiftly to a dynamic environment.
• Skills in information gathering, analysis, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
• Basic mathematical abilities, including understanding rates, ratios, percentages, and bar graphs.
• Competence with personal computers, intermediate keyboarding skills, MS Excel, MS Word, and BD’s sales information systems.
• Capability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, and governmental materials.
• Proficiency in presenting information and addressing questions from healthcare professionals, executives, managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to tackle practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with disposable clinician preference products, capital equipment, and budgeting is preferred.
