This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Establish and nurture relationships with prescribers, retailers, and key decision-makers in the Veterinary and Agricultural Trade sectors.
• Propel sales growth and enhance market penetration to achieve company objectives.
• Meet financial targets for the designated territory and assigned Key Accounts.
• Monitor customer orders through the new online portal.
• Update Salesforce CRM on a daily basis and fulfill customer-contact activity targets.
• Collaborate with A and B customers to agree upon and review business plans quarterly.
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, exhibitions, and trade shows.
• Strategically plan calls to maximize territory coverage.
• Analyze account and territory performance by utilizing sales data and CRM reporting tools.
• Work with marketing on the design and execution of campaigns.
• Collect product testimonials from retailers and end users.
• Report Pharmacovigilance issues within 24 hours using the appropriate forms.
• Deliver CPD training either via Teams or in person.
• Share best practices and competitor insights with the broader Ireland Sales team.
• Identify new business opportunities within the territory.
• Implement seasonal campaigns and ensure accounts are well-stocked.
• Oversee territory debt management.
• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage and expand a portfolio of Bimeda Key Accounts.
• Lead negotiations on commercial agreements, pricing, data management, communications, and account planning.
• Develop, implement, and review Strategic Account Plans.
• Provide monthly updates on the performance and activities of Key Accounts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support Key Account activities.
• Contribute to Bimeda’s growth strategy, technology advancements, process enhancements, new product launches, product accessibility, efficiency, and profitability.
• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or a related field), a veterinary or agricultural qualification, or equivalent relevant experience in animal health, veterinary, or agricultural sectors.
• Understanding of the Animal Health and Veterinary Medicine markets.
• Direct experience working with retailers or in the agricultural trade is highly regarded.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, Salesforce.
• Comfortable with adopting and utilizing new digital tools and sales technology.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Possess a full, valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned territory.
• Experience in field-based territory management is desirable.
• Familiarity with Key Account Management or managing strategic/complex accounts is a plus.
• Knowledge of animal health or veterinary pharmaceutical products is advantageous.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is preferred.
• A background in farming and familiarity with livestock is desirable.
