This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Propel sustainable business growth through engagement with operators, chains, and trade partners.
• Achieve business objectives within the territory, encompassing turnover, reach and penetration, digital engagement, fully profiled operators, demos, and sampling.
• Implement customer business strategies, manage win and retain funnels, maintain contact matrices, and execute multi-touchpoint online and in-person contact approaches.
• Transform business insights into solution-oriented selling and formulate recommendations tailored to customer menus, kitchen operations, and consumer preferences.
• Design and execute collaborative business plans with selected trade partners, which include trade term agreements, sell-out initiatives, DSRs, trade-team collaboration, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with trade customers to establish partnerships for secondary sales data.
• Work in conjunction with Food Solutions Trade and eCommerce teams to roll out promotions and enhance sell-out performance.
• Timely submission and resolution of distributor trade claims.
• Engage with automated warm leads and targeted prospects via CRM and drive lead conversion in the territory.
• Meet penetration strike-rate goals through account and SKU prioritization.
• Promote digital buying behavior through eCommerce platforms.
• Foster social media engagement and participation in UFS webinars.
• Continuously enhance operator data to support personalized content delivery.
• Implement omnichannel strategies for online and offline contact within the territory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in territory sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience collaborating with operators, chain accounts, distributors, or trade partners.
• Proven track record in managing sales targets, customer plans, lead conversion, and digital/eCommerce engagement.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Significant and relevant industry experience may also be taken into consideration.
• Experience in Foodservice B2B Sales; retail experience may also be relevant.
• Background in the CPG/FMCG industry.
• Must reside in Boston or be willing and able to relocate to Boston.
