Senior Manager, Schedule & Sequencing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, oversee, and enhance project timelines for data center construction initiatives.

• Create programmatic benchmarks for detailed, resource-allocated project schedules.

• Define essential tasks, significant milestones, crucial approvals, long-lead procurement elements, and project outputs.

• Implement and improve scheduling best practices, process controls, and performance evaluation techniques.

• Stay updated with advancements in scheduling technologies and innovative practices.

• Set standards and instruct project teams on logical scheduling sequences, constraints, activity durations, workforce availability, and resource distribution.

• Guide project teams in conducting schedule analysis and Time Impact Analysis.

• Propose mitigation solutions for potential project delays and impacts.

• Support internal controls to assess project performance, track progress, and validate project data.

• Maintain critical path logic networks and integrate historical data for planning and forecasting purposes.

• Identify and address complex project control issues.

• Collaborate with project teams, field staff, and clients to produce reports, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Lead in-person discussions regarding project status, scheduling conflicts, resource limitations, sequencing difficulties, and key milestones with stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in project scheduling and construction project management, ideally in data center or mission-critical settings.

• Expertise in scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• In-depth knowledge of construction sequencing, methodologies, and best practices.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
