This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer telephonic and/or live chat assistance to members utilizing the Employee Assistance Program.
• Perform brief clinical evaluations, needs assessments, and screenings while overseeing an inbound EAP phone/chat queue.
• Provide brief, solution-oriented supportive interventions and psychoeducation.
• Conduct risk evaluations for suicidal ideation, harm to others, substance use, abuse, or violence issues.
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization, which includes safety planning and connecting to urgent or emergency resources.
• Clarify EAP clinical and work/life benefits and provide tailored recommendations.
• Link members with EAP services, health insurance, or community resources and follow up as clinically appropriate.
• Offer consultation and assistance to HR and managers regarding employee performance issues and crisis support.
• Aid in Critical Incident Response following workplace disruptive occurrences.
• Provide telephonic support and facilitate onsite or virtual counseling at workplaces.
• Accurately and promptly document interactions and activities in the electronic case management system.
• Uphold ethical standards, clinical best practices, confidentiality obligations, HIPAA, and relevant regulations.
• Engage in individual supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure exemplary member care.
• Maintain consistent attendance and availability for scheduled shifts and caseload duties.
• Complete necessary trainings and uphold proficiency in EAP protocols and procedures.
• Participate in the EAP on-call rotation for after-hours coverage.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field within behavioral health or human services.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience, ideally in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), crisis intervention, behavioral health assessment, care management, or brief/solution-focused counseling environments.
• Active professional licensure in good standing, such as LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or an equivalent state credential.
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, queue-based setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing multiple digital platforms and electronic case management systems.
• Strong cultural competence and ability to work efficiently with diverse populations in workplace settings.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Aptitude for completing timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8pm EST.
• Willingness to participate in the EAP on-call rotation, typically around two weeks per calendar year.
• Home office setup with suitable lighting, computer, and phone access.
