This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Facilitate Regional Dealer Placement initiatives, which encompass dealer agreement packages for new locations, buy/sells, renewals, relocations, and terminations.
• Supervise regional dealer business management, focusing on working capital, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Address facility, signage, flooring, and trademark compliance matters.
• Create and present proposals for new dealers and buy/sell transactions to the Franchise Committee.
• Analyze operations of underperforming or newly appointed dealers alongside Dealer Principals and Management.
• Formulate and execute dealer launch or enhancement plans, ensuring adherence to MMNA policies.
• Establish and implement strategies to boost dealer profitability and performance.
• Relay updates on franchise activities and progress to Regional Management.
• Collaborate with District Managers and regional teams to coordinate new dealer launches.
• Assess buy/sell opportunities and offer recommendations.
• Adhere to deadlines while delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Assist dealer development efforts across the central and western areas of the North Region, involving significant travel within the territory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wholesale/retail automotive sectors, including a role as a District Sales Manager.
• In-depth understanding of dealer financial statements, dealership operations, and capital planning.
• Exceptional ability to influence and motivate others, coupled with outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple high-impact projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Significant travel is mandatory.
• Must hold a valid unconditional driver's license and maintain an MMNA-approved driving record.
• Proven success in Dealer Development with a recognized OEM.
• Previous experience in dealer placement, franchise compliance, and buy/sell negotiations.
• Strong comprehension of market representation strategies and retail network expansion in emerging markets.
• Background in enhancing dealership profitability and launching new stores.
