Senior Manager, Schedule and Sequencing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create, oversee, and enhance project timelines for data center construction initiatives.

• Establish programmatic standards for detailed, resource-inclusive project schedules.

• Identify essential activities, milestones, critical approvals, long-lead procurement items, and project deliverables.

• Apply scheduling best practices, process controls, and performance measurement techniques.

• Stay informed on industry innovations, scheduling technologies, and cutting-edge methodologies.

• Set standards and educate project teams on logical scheduling sequences, constraints, durations, manpower, and resource distribution.

• Guide project teams in conducting schedule analysis and Time Impact Analysis.

• Suggest risk mitigation strategies and assist with change management initiatives.

• Create and enforce internal controls to evaluate project performance and track progress.

• Maintain critical path logic networks and utilize historical data for planning and forecasting purposes.

• Recognize and address complex project control challenges.

• Collaborate with project teams, field staff, and clients to produce reports and monitor progress.

• Lead in-person discussions to address project status, scheduling conflicts, resource limitations, sequencing challenges, and milestones with stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in project scheduling and construction project management, ideally within data center or mission-critical settings.

• Expertise in scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Strong grasp of construction sequencing, methodologies, and best practices.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

• PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
