Territory Development Executive – Heavy Truck Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture business relationships to enhance revenue by retaining and expanding the existing client base.

• Expand market share through proactive sales efforts and in-person engagement.

• Collaborate with channel partners to enhance sales opportunities for CDK Strategic Products.

• Meet the annual sales targets under the supervision of the Director of Sales.

• Define clear and measurable performance objectives to meet sales quotas.

• Identify new opportunities within current customer accounts.

• Sustain and grow existing accounts.

• Drive revenue and profit growth through a structured, process-focused approach.

• Formulate a comprehensive sales strategy and project both short- and long-term sales outcomes.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of CDK products and their functionalities.

• Collaborate with internal teams throughout the sales and implementation phases.

• Keep track of industry segments and monitor competitor activities within the market and territory.

• Cultivate consultative relationships with clients by recognizing their business needs and offering integrated solutions.

• Address and resolve customer issues promptly.

• Travel within the assigned territory, including overnight trips.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in a field sales role.

• Proven track record of increasing market share through conquest sales.

• Experience in targeting and engaging key prospects and influencing decision-makers.

• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining client relationships.

• Familiarity with consultative solution selling to align client needs with appropriate solutions.

• Proven ability to negotiate and close sales opportunities.

• Capability to manage a complex sales process and provide customer support tailored to client requirements.

• Knowledgeable in developing and managing a sales territory effectively.

• Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel 80% of the time, including overnight trips.

• Experience in the Automotive or Heavy Truck industry is preferred.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
