Territory Business Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Zoetis Beef operations in Northwest Iowa.

• Manage the Zoetis Cattle business in collaboration with distributors, veterinarians, dealers, and producers within the region.

• Engage with Stocker/Backgrounders, Cow/Calf producers, veterinarians, dealers, and distributor representatives.

• Analyze and differentiate between Zoetis products and those of competitors.

• Facilitate educational training sessions and producer seminars utilizing presentation and sales techniques.

• Cultivate relationships and establish influence among veterinarians, distributors, extension agents, and university personnel.

• Oversee a wide geographic area and varied customer base to meet sales goals, enhance market share, and fulfill business objectives.

• Foster customer trust through dependability, credibility, and diligent follow-up.

• Strategically plan territories and prioritize tasks via data analysis, resource allocation, and execution of business strategies.

• Utilize knowledge of the beef industry, products, and business/financial aspects.

• Collaborate, share ideas, and contribute as a team member.

• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.

• Travel and stay overnight as necessary.

• Drive to various producer, clinic, and dealer facilities throughout the designated area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience required.

• At least 3 years of experience in the cattle sector for a Territory Business Manager role.

• Preferred experience in Animal Health and knowledge of the Beef industry.

• Must be willing and able to travel overnight for approximately 25% of the time, including some weekends.

• Comprehensive knowledge of products and diseases related to the industry.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word software.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Must be willing to travel to customer locations within the defined area.

• Capability to work in Beef Operations.

• Openness to working with cattle from husbandry to treatment administration and educational outreach on product usage.
