Territory Business Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Zoetis Beef operations in Northwest Iowa.

• Manage the Zoetis Cattle business in collaboration with distributors, veterinarians, dealers, and producers within the designated area.

• Engage with Stocker/Backgrounders, Cow/Calf producers, veterinarians, dealers, and representatives from distributors.

• Assess and differentiate between Zoetis products and those of competitors.

• Conduct educational training sessions and producer seminars utilizing effective presentation and sales techniques.

• Establish and nurture relationships while exerting influence in key trade channels, such as veterinarians, distributors, extension services, and academic personnel.

• Oversee a wide-ranging geographic area and a varied customer base to meet sales goals, enhance market share, and fulfill business objectives.

• Cultivate customer trust through dependability, credibility, and diligent follow-up.

• Execute territory planning and prioritize tasks by analyzing data, optimizing resources, and implementing business plans.

• Leverage knowledge of the beef industry, products, business practices, and financial acumen.

• Collaborate, share insights, and demonstrate teamwork.

• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and/or relevant experience.

• At least 3 years of experience related to cattle for a Territory Business Manager role.

• Experience in Animal Health and familiarity with the Beef industry is preferred.

• Willingness and ability to travel overnight approximately 25% of the time, including some weekends.

• Comprehensive product and disease knowledge.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word software applications.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Readiness to travel to customer locations within the specified geography.

• Capability to work within Beef Operations.

• Openness to working with cattle, including tasks from husbandry to treatment administration and product education.

• All candidates must possess or acquire authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
