This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with a Clinical Diabetes Specialist to introduce Sequel’s cutting-edge insulin pump and upcoming products.
• Encourage the adoption of Sequel products and services within the designated territory.
• Develop strategies and initiatives for the territory to achieve or surpass goals.
• Establish relationships with customers and influence healthcare providers to recommend Sequel products.
• Promote product adoption and ensure positive product experiences for both healthcare providers and users.
• Discuss and showcase Sequel products and diabetes treatment options.
• Work alongside customer care and sales support to enhance the user experience.
• Relay feedback from healthcare providers across functions to address issues and enhance product development.
• Represent Sequel products at industry conventions and educational events.
• Manage leads and opportunities daily within the customer relations database.
• Provide necessary product training documentation as required.
• Maintain connections with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
• Senior TBL: assist in training field sales staff.
• Senior TBL: mentor junior team members.
• Senior TBL: participate in internal advisory boards across various departments.
• Senior TBL: lead weekly team calls and regional or area meetings as required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• For the Senior TBL position: at least 4 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device fields with a proven history of success.
• Preferred experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices.
• Strong relationships with Endocrinologists are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and foster team collaboration.
• Strong skills in data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving.
• Capable of executing sales and marketing plans and managing territory budgets.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned geographical area.
• Willingness to commute and spend extended periods driving daily, which may include overnight travel; most territory travel will be by car.
• Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
• Senior TBL: a proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Senior TBL: recognition for exceptional sales achievements, such as President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or Circle of Excellence.
• Senior TBL: experience in developmental and leadership roles such as field sales trainer, mentoring new hires, or participating in field advisory boards/marketing input committees.
• Senior TBL: experience representing an organization at industry conferences/conventions, including ADA or ADCES.
• Senior TBL: demonstrated career advancement into roles with greater responsibility.
