
Territory Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a designated territory of national retail accounts.
• Perform both scheduled and emergency services for cleaning, air care, and food sanitation dispensing systems.
• Conduct food sanitation audits within the assigned geographical area and account list.
• Report significant sanitation violations to store management and suggest corrective measures.
• Install, maintain, and repair chemical dispensing and warewash dispensing equipment.
• Provide training to customer associates on products, systems, and sanitation protocols.
• Build and sustain customer relationships within each account.
• Ensure the upkeep of the company vehicle and other assigned assets.
• Adhere to internal reporting standards and complete assigned administrative tasks.
• Manage parts inventory in the storage shed and vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, utilize PPE, and follow safety procedures.
• Monitor expenses and quality metrics related to equipment, parts, literature, and tools.
• Install dispensing equipment for new accounts and transition existing customers to new dispensing systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Certification as a National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) Certified Professional- Food Safety (CP-FS) (or equivalent) is required, or must obtain certification within one year of hire.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and proficiency in training store sanitation teams effectively.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety or sanitation-related roles is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience with email, Excel, Word, and the capacity to use auditing platforms via tablet applications.
• A valid US driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
• Willingness to drive for extended durations and stay overnight (up to 50% of the time).
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude is required, with basic proficiency in wiring and plumbing gained through training.
• Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
• Ability to collaborate across functions to achieve company objectives.
• A professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and self-motivation are essential.
• Must be a resident of San Diego, CA.
